Mt Hood

It was awesome time in Oregon. One month up at the Mt Hood, fun riding, filming and shooting. We were definitely lucky with the weather.

Sorry for being lame, didn’t post here any news from my last trips, but here I am back in USA with my lovely girls Elle Azizova and Jane Goldman. We were tripping around California first 2 weeks (LA, San Clemente, San Diego, Oceanside, Laguna Beach, Vines Beach, Santa Monica, Hollywood, and Santa Barbara) and now we are in Oregon, shredding in Mt Hood. First week done, time for working hard, filming and shooting on our program next two weeks.

Spring shredding in Russia!

This month I spent at the Russians mountains, first went South to the Sochi, Rosa Khutor resort, where went Quiksilver Snow camp. It was lots of fun riding at that time, weather been awesome, first two days tons of fresh powder, and then sunny spring days shredding in the sick new park.

Sochi I think could be the best place, with the best snow and black sea just 40min from the mountains.

After South of Russia I went to the North- Kirovsk, where went like an ever y year DC.Kirovsk.Lab camp. Weather wasn’t so nice to us, we got sun only for 2days in two weeks, but still it was lots of fun hanging with friends and just shred a good park.

Russian competitions marathon

Yeaaah it’s over! 10 days Russian competitions marathon of the National Russian Championship, Europe Cup and final step of Russian Cup went in the new place for me – Izhevsk city. There is the new Olympic team snowboard base with the best half-pipe in Russia and really good snowboard park.

It went really lucky for me and I had a really good and fun time with my Moscow team. I got 4^th place at the Europe cup in Half-Pipe, 1^st place at the Championship Big-air, 2nd place at the Championship Slopestyle and 1^st place at the Russian Cup in Half-Pipe and Big-Air. And become an overall winner of Russian Cup Half-Pipe this year! Pretty stoked of that, because of my injury last year and didn’t really ride Half-Pipe this year, but I made my return not bad I guess, so happy about that!

Now I have just two days for rehab and going back to Sochi for Quiksilver camp. It’s going to be lots of fun spring shredding in the sick park, some shooting and filming. Can’t wait!

Sochi 2012

Didn’t made it to Oslo for WSC, but whatever, had a super fun time riding in Russia , just came back from the tasting a new Olympic Half-Pipe in Sochi. I can say everything changed so much after I was there at “ Krasnaya Polyana” resort 5 years ago. New village “Rosa Khutor” , new lifts, new slopes looks really good and getting ready for next winter Olympic Games in 2014, but there is one thing that never change ,it is one of the best snow in the world and awesome freeride. Especially when all the snow was only for us, this resort right now is open only for sportsmen’s who came there for National Russian& European cup and World cup. We got fresh powder at the first day and sunny weather on the next day, then pipe trainings and competitions “Russian cup in Half-Pipe”, where I got 3d place. Our President of Russia even came to watch us. It was the best Half-Pipe we have ever had in Russia. I want to say Thanks to shaper from Park City, Tyson, who made it for us. Thanks!

Awesome thing about the place where we were staying, that it was near by the “Black” sea and it is just 1 hour drive to the resort. We were chilling on the beach in the evening , was pretty warm + 14C and shredding pow in the morning .
